MAIL CALL!!! Happy little trees....

I almost thought I wasn't going to be able to report this one!  I have been eagerly awaiting this package since winning the auction on the big "E"...which for me means checking the delivery confirmation a few times a day because that will make it get here faster...Yes? (Please say I'm not the only one that does this).

So anyway, I was excited yesterday when I saw that it was marked delivered!!! Sweet! AND then not so happy when I got home to no package.  WHAT! I grumbled all night, mainly because I had this same thing happen last month with two packages that were delivered on the same day.  I thankfully received those, but only because the people who received them in error were honest and came to the house a week later.  I tried calling the post office but the lady I talked to said their tracking system was down and I would have to call back...which worked for me because she had a SERIOUS case of bitch-itis...she must not have been having a good day.

By now I'm starting to think it might be karma, since when I showed this item to one of my best friends he was like....

"Are you bidding on that tree?"  - J
"Yeah" - Me
"Me too" - J

AWKWARD.....all I could think is Oh shit....should I still bid on it?  But it is so awesome!!! What to do what to do.....then the next part of our conversation put everything in perspective.

"Game on" - J
"Well....I was the first bidder which makes it mine" - Me
"Not how Ebay works sweety" -J

At this point I was cracking up...Game on indeed.  Suck it! I WIN.....you can come and visit my trees but you are getting frisked on the way out.  AND since when I got home today my package was on my doorstep there are actual trees to visit.

Everybody...the trees
the trees.....Everybody

Happy little trees

They have found a new home!
They now look super fab in my shadowbox...I think they were made to go there!

Ciao

    1. Me too!! ALL THE TIME...especially those last 2 second bidders. It was rather nice to actually say it to one, even if it is my bestie.
